user agreement
What is this? User Agreement? I keep getting asked to see it and presume there is a box or check mark to a box but do not see anywhere as where or how to agree to it??

Mentor1 year agoIf you're talking about the recent update to the Arbitration Agreement of the User Agreement, you should see, probably in the banner or box that announces the update, an arrow or a hyperlink (underlined text) that you can click on, in order to see the updated sections.
Another way to see these revisions is to click on Seller News within these eBay Community pages. For the last few days, the first News item shown is about the new/current updates to the Arbitration Agreement.
To see the entire User Agreement, if you're using a desktop or laptop computer, scroll to the very, very bottom of any eBay page, to the small print. You'll see the copyright dates and, reading to the right, several hyperlinks (underlined text) to eBay information. The second of those hyperlinks is the User Agreement. Click anywhere within those two words (User, Agreement), and the User Agreement will appear in its entirety.
The current, revised version of the Arbitration Agreement is included in the User Agreement that appears.
Personally, I suggest you read the new sections very carefully. There are some very important changes to eBay's policies on legal disputes and arbitration processes. You may be able to opt-out of these changes before May 16, 2025, if you haven't used eBay's services (bought or listed or sold anything) since April 16, 2025.

There is no action you need to take. You automatically agree to the user agreement by virtue of using the eBay site.
