used a guest account. I also have a Ebay account
I bought a two of the same items on a guest account. One is faulty. What next? AI has been a frustrating, time-wasting, experience. Not having used EBAY for a long time I forgot I had an account prior. Every time I have to put in my email address to process the return or refund it shows I didn't buy the item on my account. The whole process keeps going around and around.

Your guest purchases are not associated with an eBay account. For help with a guest purchase, you must first sign out of your current eBay account, then use the "order details" link in the email you received from eBay regarding the guest order, or see here:

OP1 year agoThank you for your reply. I was able to contact a real live person with a bit of a challenge. They were able to assist quite quickly to clear up the issue. Glad some companies still use a few humans.
