What is wrong with these people? For 2 days, every time, after checking in, that I try to put something on my watchlist, I am told to check in again. If it continues I am going to get rid of ebay.

Are you using a VPN, hotspot or Starlink network? Any of those can cause verification issues.
Otherwise, try another browser to rule out a browser issue. A blocked or corrupt eBay cookie could cause verification issues for you.
