U.S. seller wants to sell in Canada

Question

Hi,

I am a seller based in the U.S. who wants to sell in Canada and the U.S. I contacted eBay and talked with someone who told me that I would hear back from eBay by April 20th. It is now April 21 and I have not heard anything from eBay.

Other than starting the rather painful telephone call process again, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do?

Are you referring to the eBay International Shipping Program?

eBay adds members based on a top secret algorithm. You do need to have some recent seller history.

These are the basic requirements.

To be eligible for the eBay International Shipping program, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

Above Standard or Top Rated seller performance
Eligible for seller protections
Low or Average Service Metrics
Compliant with eBay rules and policies

Your only other option is direct shipping which I do not recommend as it can be complicated. You need to make sure that the item can be imported to the country you are shipping to. You also would be responsible for any lost, late, or damaged items.
