Urgent: Repeated Sales Issues, Listing Fee Error, and Account Holds
Dear eBay Support,
I’m reaching out because I’m facing multiple issues that are severely affecting my experience.
First, I listed my vehicle roughly 10 days before the final relisting date. However, it was only live for a few hours, yet I was charged a fee for the full listing period. I need clarity on why this happened and how it can be resolved.
Second, I’m seeing funds on hold in my account that are preventing me from making purchases. These holds are causing anxiety and business disruption. I need help understanding why these holds persist and how they can be addressed.
Third, a prior buyer claim regarding a phone sale left me at a loss. I couldn’t produce the receipt, but I’ve been an honest seller for years. I want this context noted because these experiences are making it harder for me to trust the process.
I’m passionate about growing my business on eBay, including using eBay Live, but these issues—unpaid sales, listing fee errors, and claims—are making it incredibly frustrating. Please escalate this to the right team so we can find long-term solutions.
Also some one kept calling me
and urging to send them all pict of my documents to release the security deposit and them after 3 days the money will be transferred to the account they wanted me to entered through there secure platform where they keep calling them self as they are holding the funds from the buyer i
never heard that before and it’s making me anxious about this whole process. In
Thank you for hearing me out, and I look forward to a resolution.

I can not say why the listing for a vehicle didn't go live when you posted it. However that can happen with other listing types and is stated in the user agreement.

Fund Holds on transactions can happen for many reasons. This may even be related to needing to update your payout information.

This sounds like eBay is trying to get you to update your checking account information to receive payouts.
You will need to contact eBay customer service for assistance from #3 You can also ask the agent about the listing not posting in a timely manner.
However I recommend checking a few things as eBay will NOT tell you what doesn't match for security reasons.
1. Verify that name and address on your eBay account matches your checking account and government ID EXACTLY. I had to had my middle name to my eBay account so it would match my checking account and drivers license. You will need to provide your SS#. You can not use a PO box for your registration address as seller but you can use it for your ship from and to addresses.
2. Make sure the ACH routing number is the correct one to use for these type of deposits. Verify this with your bank.
3. Contact Customer service
Click this link> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold?id=4814
Then Type Verify Checking account. In the chat bot box on the lower right.
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.
