Urgent Assistance Needed — Label Purchased via eBay, In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Late
Hello eBay Family,
I hope you can help me resolve a critical issue. I purchased the shipping label through eBay for , shipped via USPS, but the item has not been delivered to my customer. The buyer is now raising concerns and demanding resolution.
Here are the key details:
Order 1:

* Date label purchased/shipped: September 23, 2025, 12:09 pm
* Current USPS status: “In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Lateâ€
Order 2
* Order number: 20-13604-42498

* Date label purchased/shipped: September 26, 2025, 12:12 pm
* Current USPS status: “In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Lateâ€
I have fulfilled my responsibility by purchasing the label and shipping the item. At this point, I’m out of options to control the carrier. Because the buyer’s experience is negatively impacted, I need eBay’s intervention to either:
1. Contact USPS on my behalf and help locate the package, or
2. Provide me with a refund or credit for the cost of the label and/or the item if USPS fails to deliver, so I can satisfy the buyer.
Please escalate this issue to the appropriate department. I want to maintain trust with the customer and preserve my seller metrics, so I’d like a prompt resolution.

eBay will not contact the carrier - that is your responsibility. File a missing mail request here - https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm. The first step is to check the tracking - when you are on that page, request email or text updates so that you know as soon as the package is moving.
You are responsible for the shipment until it is delivered to the buyer. If you have to refund the buyer, then you file a claim at https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm. The claim reimburses you.
