UPS claims my package was larger than it actually was

Received email stating that UPS determined my package was 17x17x17, but I know the box was 16x16x16. They charged me an additional $6.67.

How do I get this rectified?

UPS, not USPS.

Did you add the outside measurements of the box or the inside? You can appeal. Here is the info.

Some of your shipping labels have cost adjustments.
