uploading tracking number for a return

I cant upload a tracking number for a return. I found a cheaper shipping option than using a eBay label but I cant upload the tracking information. Any advice? thanks!

@meador62 Unfortunately if the return already has an eBay shipping label you can't change the tracking,

The tracking must be in the case in order for eBay to know that the item was returned.

You can contact customer service and ask them to make a note of the new tracking and message the seller with the tracking. An agent can't change the tracking either. HOWEVER even those steps are not a guarantee that the refund will happen if the system doesn't have tracking that shows delivery in the return case.
