Uploading picture of wrong item buyer received
Does anybody know how to upload a picture of a wrong item received by the buyer? I am waiting for the seller to send me the return shipping label; instead, seller has asked me twice to send a picture of the wrong item I received. I have replied twice, asking how to do this, but seems like seller is not even reading my replies. I'm not even sure that this can be done through the eBay platform; I've tried to speak to an agent and all I get is that I have to wait until after April 17th to give seller time to send me the return shipping label, or ask eBay to step in and help me again. I'm on a time crunch and cannot wait until then to return the wrong item.

If you have opened a return request because you "Received wrong item", there should be a picture uploader on that screen. Here is a composite desktop view of the return screens. Click the [+] to search for a photo on your computer.
If you are using the Mobile App and do not see a picture uploader, you might try using the browser on your device instead.
If you have already opened a return and no longer see an option anywhere to upload a photo, you can use eBay messages to Contact the seller and upload a photo within eBay Messages.

OP2 years agoThank you again for your help. It was too late in the transaction to upload the picture of the wrong item I received, but I figured out how to do it from my phone through feedbacks. I remained neutral with my rating to give the seller an opportunity to remedy their mistake. I notified seller where I uploaded the picture; seller apologized and refunded me the full amount I paid. I am a fair person, so now I want to provide a positive feedback. How do I continue, or add, to my previous feedback? Thanks in advance!

Mentor2 years agoHi @janjim2020
It would have been preferable to wait until the transaction was completed before leaving feedback. [We have 60 days to leave it.]
At this point, you can either leave a Follow-up to your feedback … OR ask the seller to send you a Feedback Revision Request so that you can change your original feedback to positive.
[BTW, the reason the seller needed the photo likely was to decide whether to provide a shipping label or refund without a return.]

OP2 years agoThank you ! I, too, would have waited but the problem was dragging for too long and I needed to get the return shipping label before going away for quite long. I wasn't getting clarification from the seller...it seemed that seller was not reading my replies; at that time in the process I could not get to communicate with eBay until the time given to seller to comply expired, at which time I would not be home to take care of the return. Thanks again.
