upgrading my store subsction
I am thinking of upgrading my basic store subscripion to the next level up. i currently pay the yearly price per month. my question is, should i upgrade with the yearly price of monthly price. i was thinking of keeping it til the end of the year and then go back to my basic store.

You only have 278 items listed and they appear to be BIN listings. You sold 120 items in the last 90 days which is roughly 40 items per month. I don't see where going from the Basic store to the Premium store gains you anything and then going back to the Basic store like you said early next year.
Do you know what your "average" sale is??? Before I opened my first store I waited until my "average" sale was at or just over the monthly store fee. So in basic terms it meant one "average" sale per month paid for the store.

OP11 months agoI understand but I have over 1000 items in storage that I need to list. I definitely averaging the 4.95 I'm paying monthly now. I just needed to know if I upgrade should I do monthly or yearly if I plan on going back down to my starter store. I don't want to be charged a fee for downgrading..

·11 months agoWhat categories are you listing in? There are an additional 10,000 listings in select categories for a Basic Store or above. My company has over 7,000 listings currently on a Basic Store subscription because of the categories we list in:

OP11 months agoI'm sorry I put the wrong store I have, I only have a starter store currently at 250 listings.. I feel this is wasted money as it really doesn't have any more perks than having no store at all. I need at least basic store lever to get some perks..

·11 months agoAh, yeah, the Starter Store rarely offers enough benefits to be worth it for most sellers, since you do not end up with any more free insertions than without a store subscription, though you do gain access to some marketing tools like sale events and coupons. I would definitely recommend the Basic Store if you’re planning to add a lot more listings. Once you exceed about 300 listings, the savings usually easily balance out the cost of the subscription.

OP11 months agoRight, I'm definitely upgrading, I just don't know should I upgrade with monthly or yearly price .I'm on yearly now. I wish they offer an ebay tutorial on how things work..

Okay, so your original post said you were considering upgrading your "basic" store, THAT is why I provided the list of store names. You do not have a Basic store now you have a Starter Store ... BIG difference going from that to a Basic store not a Basic Store to Premium store.

Going back to my other question, what is your "average" sale? That might help you make your decision. If it were me and my goal was to grow a business I would just switch from the Starter store to the Basic store on the Annual subscription not Monthly.
