Updating bank info
I'm confused. I've been a buyer for 11 years with e-bay and just recently have become a seller. I've been selling for about 5 months now and e-bay has stopped paying me until I update my bank account. I'm curious why that happened because nothing has changed regarding my bank account. I've updated it twice already, but the message still keeps showing up, but yet I have e-mails from e-bay telling me I've updated it. Is this common for the message to keep showing up even if e-bay has e-mailed me that I updated it? Does e-bay randomly or periodically do this from time to time. I would appreciate any info that anyone has on this subject. Thanks.

eBay does reverify sellers from time to time.
1) If your payouts are still on hold, wait 24 hours if it was today to see if the message disappears
2) When you update your payout method, payouts will automatically be on hold for 48 hours. That is a security feature, but the message should indicate that.
If it was more than 48 hours ago and, there may be something that isn't matching.
Here are some common issues
- The email and phone number listed here must be marked "verified": https://accountsettings.ebay.com/profile
- Your Bank Account name MUST -exactly- match your eBay Account Name. First Middle Last
- Your Bank Account MUST be a Checking Account.
- If you have a Business Checking Account, your eBay Account must be a "Business” type.
- Your profile address must be a street address. (Your shipping address can be different)
- From my own personal experience, please check the banking information on a computer not on the app.
- Micro deposit amounts not verified.
