"Update your registration address" - WRONG

Question

Received this message from eBay:

Federal regulations require eBay to obtain your physical address. It appears that your registration address on your eBay account is a Post Office mailbox. To avoid payouts being blocked, your address will need to be updated within 30 calendar days.

This address must be updated to a physical address where you reside or from where you operate your business.

This is patently false. I just double checked my registration address, and it is my correct street address, which I've been using for months. All my other address - payouts, returns, receiving, etc. - are my PO Box.

Impossible to contact eBay about this, of course (would prefer emails so I have a record of the conversation) so I'm at a loss here.

To contact eBay, use the chat assistant to request a call back by starting on the Help & Contact page and following the links for your issue.

What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.

Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.
