Upcharged on shipping

Question

I serioulsy need help understanding how I got charged anoth 35.01 for shipping fees on something that cost at little over $7 to ship. A tube that weighted about a 1-2 lbs max. I used the ebay shipping otipon jsut because it was easy I checked cost in my business shipping app first about same rate then get hit with an addtionla $35.01 shipping fee form ebay. **bleep**, this is why I barely sell anything here there is no profit I actually have lost $ at this point

You were not hit by a fee from eBay but from the shipping carrier. eBay just had to pass the fee on to you. Keep in mind that tubes are considered as irregular packages by all shipping carriers and will have a surcharge imposed when shipping. You need to click on the Irregular package check box when making you listing so the surcharge is accounted for. Each shipping carrier determines how long the tube can be for each level of length surcharge.
