upcharge
On 1/3 I ordered a Skil screwdriver .I received it in a day or two later and my credit card was charged the agreed price. $37.44 jo265175
This charge was reversed three days laterand on 1/14 I was charged $42.80 with no explanation.. jo645019
I tried to contact the seller but was not successful.
I filed a dispute with my credit card company and it was later dis-allowed.
I believe a seller should honor the agreed upon price or at lease contact the buyer on why there is an upcharge
or maybe, just cancel order if they can no longer honor their posting.

Mentor5 months ago@lei227767 I see that the seller is located in Japan. This is probably a tariff charge. Sellers do not have access to your payment information and can't charge you more than you pay at checkout.
Unfortunately there is no way to dispute it with eBay now because you went straight to your credit card.
Always file refund requests in this order: eBay> PayPal> bank/ credit card.
Once you dispute with your payment method eBay can no longer assist you.
