UPC barcodes won't scan since latest app update on iPhone 15 and 17 Pro

With the latest app update, my iPhone 15 & 17 Pro will not scan any barcode. Very frustrating as you can't search for anything based on barcode. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, checked for updates, restarted my phones and still nothing scans. I can take a pic of the barcode and upload it, but that is too time consuming. The new app has an option of magnifying the barcode 2X, but that doesn't work either. I have contacted support 7 days ago and explained but have not received any update. Thoughts?

Mentor1 week agoHave you restarted your phone in between uninstalling the eBay app and reinstalling? The order is important if you want to ensure a clean install.
