Unwarranted late defect tag-- too late to contest and remove
How do I get a late defect tag removed? It was shipped same day as buyer paid (December 26), which is more than 90 days ago. Ebay status tracker notes that it was shipped the same day. The item was not delivered to Hawaii (according to USPS tracking) until March 24. *Delivery* was less than 90 days ago (today is May 15). I know shipping date starts the 90-day clock, but there's no method to contest the late ding after 90 days. Again, I shipped it the same day as the order was made. (Went out the day after Christmas, no less!) What can I do?
