Unwanted offers when I research my item to list, and what it sold for.

Question

I take a picture of my item to see what a like item sold for or listed for. Then I get offers from sellers. How can I avoid these unwanted offers.

A couple of potential options: go to your Communication Preferences and disable "offers to buyers". Or search for research purposes while signed out of your account, or while signed in to a different eBay account with offers turned off if you still want to receive offers for items you have looked at that you are considering buying in your buying account.
