unwanted discount offers
I look at hundreds of items while I am shopping. Now I get discount offers on items not on my watch list. I want this to stop. Too much hassle trying to clear them all the time. How do I stop these offers?

OP2 years agoSo what I am seeing is eBay gives out my personal info to anyone that I even glance at their item? I look at 100's of items when I am trying to find out the best way to fix or replace something. Offers should only be allowed on items on my watch list period! A.I. stay away from me.

eBay is not giving out any personal info.
eBay lets the seller know that the seller can make an offer to an interested buyer, and eBay mediates the process. The seller has no information other than that an offer can be sent. Unless you actually accept the offer and pay, the seller never knows anything about you at all.

Mentor2 years agoIf you go to your Communication Preferences you can disable "offers to buyers".
You cannot pick and choose which offers you receive, you can only choose to receive offers or not.
