Unusual return circumstances.
We purchased an item which arrived damaged. The seller has approved the return and a link to print the shipping label was sent. The unfortunate part is we had to leave town unexpectedly for a family issue (dying grandmother) prior to receiving the and printing the label. To top it off, I asked my daughter to stop by and take care of shipping the item, however she decided it was also necessary for her to come to the family as well so she took the item with her. Now what do we do? The shipping label would have the wrong departure location, and I would assume the charges would also be incorrect?
Any ideas?

The return label would have the wrong departure, however the way return labels are set up is that it is charged once it is used.
You should be safe using that return label.
I am sorry to hear about your grandmother. Sending prayers for comfort for all.

OP11 months agoThank you so much, we've been on ebay a long time and this is the first time we've had to return an item. Also, thank you for your prayers, we're all hoping for a peaceful passing.
