Unsold Inactive Item Still Showing Up As Active Under Selling
I have a graphic novel that has not sold and is listed under inactive or unsold due to auction's end. However, this item is still showing up as active or selling. I had tried "end listing" the auction to get rid of it, but that did not work.
Does anyone know how to fix this. I can't seem to find technical help links.

OP3 weeks agoApologies for delay. I forgot to check back on this.
The item in question shows up in both my inactive and active listings for me in my account. Any idea why? Can it be removed from active, as it should already be, or is it some Ebay technical glitch happening right now as often seems to happen? Also, I only have the one copy, so it is not like there are two.

It's not actually active as you currently do not have any active listings. Clearing your browser history and trying another browser is the first step to take before contacting CS.
CS will most likely say they are going to "open a ticket" but that doesn't usually help.
Your best option for contacting customer service for this is CS on Instagram.

2. Select a category that best matches your problem.
3. Answer the chat bots question by stating what you need help with. Be brief, don't go into details.
4.Type AGENT ( you may have repeat steps 3 and 4)
5. Request a call back or live chat. (Note that the contact options vary depending on the topic and staffing availability)

I use Firefox and cleared cookies and such under Privacy & Security. It did not work.
I tried Microsoft Edge and I am getting the same thing.
The link you posted further above asking if I see it there does show the item in question too.
I will try CS soon. I do not have an Instagram nor do I wish to sign up, if need be.
I can live with it so long as it is benign, for lack of better description.

OP3 weeks agoI forgot to add that if I try to edit or revise the "active" listing, I get a red flag of sorts telling me I can't do so with ended listings. So, it shows up as active, but confirms it is ended.
Odd.

Mentor3 weeks ago@cmgl This is such an odd issue. I have never heard of this happening in 23 years of selling on eBay! It is benign though since the item doesn't show as active. I do know that unsold items will automatically delete after 90 days ( well they should! ) . Did you try manually delete it from the unsold section if you don't plan on relisting it within 90 days? https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/ended?status=UNSOLD_NOT_RELISTED Put a checkmark next to the item and then select delete.

OP2 weeks agoI try to relist when I can so as not to lose it and have to do it all over again. Whatever does not sell by the end of the year I may retire. So, I do not wish to delete it now.
And, as I noted above, I tried to end the listing again, but it could not be done.
It's like a ghost listing haunting me to be sold.
