Really sorry this has happened.
-Some Sellers may not know Best offer is turned ON for their listings. I have seen it set to ON as a default on an eBay listing tool just like I see No returns accepted and 2 Day Handling as default settings. Those settings can send the wrong message at times.
-On the other hand, Sellers who use Best offer have the option to counter, decline, ignore, set an amount they will auto-accept or decline, etc. Offers that are ignored simply expire.
Buyers cannot force a Seller to accept or even respond to offers. Additionally, eBay now lets listings with Offers stay live and active so if someone comes along and pays the list price BEFORE an offer is accepted by either party that is who gets the item.

OP8 months agoThanks! Think I will message the seller with the offer and see if I can get a response that way. I didn't think it was an unreasonable offer and therefore expected a resposne.
