Unresponsive "Make Offer" buttons
Summary: The discussion revolves around the issue of unresponsive "Make Offer" buttons. tazjock initially raised the concern, and it was acknowledged by eburtonlab. Further exchanges between these participants indicate ongoing troubleshooting efforts, but a solution has yet to be reached. The participants are engaged in identifying the root cause of the problem.
When I click on the button listing where the seller accepts offers, a blank pop-up window opens but nothing appears inside other than the buffering symbol. This has occurred with two different sellers yesterday (where a seller sent me an offer) and today (when I tried making an offer where the seller indicated offers were accepted). Never had a problem feature with this in the past. Have tried using two different browsers entering the same difficulty. Please help.

What operating system are you using?
Sounds like the version of Safari that lots of folks have with iOS 15.8.8 no longer works with eBay. Possibly other browsers as well. Try Chrome.
If that is what you are encountering, I would suggest reporting the issue to eBay directly using one of the "Tell us what you think" browser links from one of the affected My eBay pages, then trying other browsers to see if one works better and posting the detailed results here of which specific browser versions have been tried.
If you have a more recent browser, try temporarily disabling your ad blocker, or a try a new install of a popular browser with default settings and no add-ons.

OP4 months agoI tried both Chrome and Microsoft Edge, both with my Nord VPN disabled on my desktop Pc running Windows Pro 11. Also tried running conflict checks and restore features all without any luck. Finally had to resort to using my old (15-year old) Android phone and was able to access the "offers" feature using Chrome on that device.
Was not able to locate a " 'Tell us what you think' browser links from one of the affected My eBay pages" as suggested. E-bay would not let me click on anything as far as getting me to an agent or a chat gpt-type tool. I know they are a humongously big organization but their customer service really stinks.
Many thanks for taking time to help out.

If you are having a problem and using a VPN, disabling the VPN may not be enough if the problem is related to the VPN.
It might also be worth trying a newly installed browser with default settings and no add-ons. Or a private or incognito browser window.
The "Tell us what you think" link can be found in the upper right of the Summary, Purchase History and Watch List pages, among others.
