Unreasonable steps required by Seller
I bought a weedeater head ($8.85) that broke in less than 30 min of normal use. I messaged the seller with the appropriate photo. "They" replied to this and multiple follow-up messages where I kindly asked for a refund for the defective part in short, impersonal single sentence replies. They insisted that I must first return the part to get a refund. After several attempts to get a Return Label, they messaged me a Return Label in a format that I can't print nor save. I asked that they send me the Return Label in a PDF format, yet they basically ignored me. I have attempted to contact eBay for a refund, and have tried (3) different methods with no results. Seems to me the cost to return this $8.85 item makes no sense. I am doing this out of principle, as I feel I have been mis-treated. Who else has had similar experiences on eBay? Please advise how I get my refund. Thank you.

You need to file an actual return request case. Unless you file an official return request eBay can not make the seller refund you. Let me know if you have completed these steps>>
The eBay Money Back Guarantee over rules the sellers return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request for most categories AND 3 days for Trading Cards.
Here's what you need to do:
Open a return with the reason doesn't match description or photos.

4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not provided a return shipping label or a full refund then ask eBay to step in and help: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/ask-ebay-to-step-in?id=4701
Let me know if you need to return an item to another country as there are additional steps required. The seller pays return shipping for an item that is not as described no matter where they are located.
