Unreal biding
If some has a high bid then puts in a unreal bid does that stop others from making a normal bid on a item.
Example: high bid of $7.50 then says max bid of $1750.00. same bider.
Does that not allow anyone else to make a higher bid?

Mentor2 weeks agoAnyone who is qualified can bid as long as the bid amount is at least one bid increment above the current showing bid. A high hidden maximum bid does not prevent another bid, though two high bids from different accounts can, as that would raise the current showing bid. This is why eBay has restrictions about how bids can be retracted in the last twelve hours of an auction: to prevent "bid shielding" where someone uses two accounts to bid up an auction, then retracts one of the bids at the last moment to win at the starting bid amount using the other account.
