Unpaid item
I asked to cancel a transaction but the buyer rejected it by mistake. I’m waiting for eBay to cancel it as I won’t pay. Will it be put on my record against me?

If you don't pay, it should be on your record so sellers can block you.

I think if you requested the cancellation within the first couple hours, there is no strike issued to the buyer. Time will tell.
eBay will not cancel it.
I don’t get why one bids or buys if they don’t want the item. The feedback left looks like cancelling is common.
