Unique situation -need to pay seller for shipping
My item accidentally got returned to seller by mail service. I offered to pay the seller to ship it again to me.
Seller was able to print another label, but unable to invoive me for the shipping.
EBay Customer Service gives No answer for this.
HELP!

In the past when this happened, eBay Customer Service has informally advised having the buyer remit payment directly to the seller via PayPal or another 3rd-party payment app to cover the second label.
However, officially, exchanging off-platform payment info violates eBay’s Off-Platform Policy.
Since the seller already printed the new label, the safest, policy-compliant workaround is to have the seller create a Dedicated Shipping Fee Listing:
The seller creates a quick Buy-It-Now listing titled "Additional Shipping Fee for Order #..." priced at the cost of the new label PLUS eBay's commission fee.
You purchase and pay for that listing directly on eBay.
This keeps all payment records directly on the platform and avoids triggering eBay's communication filters.
Unfortunately, those are the only current options. I wish there was a better way.
