UNHAPPY EBAY STORE OWNER - SEE THE WAY THE DISPUTE WAS HANDLED BY EBAY CS
Summary: drbcollectibles expressed frustration over an unexpected charge for a canceled store promotion on eBay, which ran outside of their scheduled time. They criticized the high fees and expressed dissatisfaction with the automated responses they received from eBay Assistant, threatening to move their auctions to another marketplace. The assistant repeatedly advised them to contact eBay Seller Support to dispute the charge and provide necessary details for investigation. drbcollectibles plans to escalate the issue to eBay corporate.
yes, i cancelled my store promotion yesterday, as it is doing very little to nothing, yet i see a new charge for a store promotion that ran for 7 hours 45min, which means it would have been activated at 230am, when i am sleeping. I would like it removed

eBay Assistant:Thanks for contacting us, Brian. I'll email you a copy of this conversation shortly.
You:hello
eBay Assistant:Howdy.
You:waiting for a response to my request
eBay Assistant:
If you see a charge for a store promotion that you believe is incorrect because you canceled it, I recommend checking your account activity and billing details in the Seller Hub or your billing section.
If the promotion ran for 7 hours 45 minutes and the charge was applied, it could be due to the timing of cancellation or a delay in processing your cancellation.

You:i just want to make certain that it gets removed.
eBay Assistant:
If you see a charge for a store promotion that you canceled but believe was charged in error, you can request a review and removal of that charge by contacting eBay Seller Support.
Charges may occur if the cancellation was processed after the promotion was already active, so it’s important to provide details to support for investigation.

You:Frankly, your fees are extreme, the promotions are not a viable option financially, i set a budget, and everytime the budget is exceeded without authorization. Unfortunately, I think that i will need to take my 850 auctions to marketplace
eBay Assistant:
eBay charges various selling fees including insertion fees, final value fees, and additional fees based on your seller performance. If your store promotion was canceled but you still see a charge, it may be due to timing or processing delays. To confirm and request removal of any incorrect charges, you should contact eBay Seller Support to review the situation.

Mentor4 days ago@drbcollectibles Here's how to Contact an actual Customer service agent:
Click this link> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold?id=4814
Then PAYOUT in the chat bot box on the lower right. (Do not add any additional information) I feel that this is an okay option to use to get past the bots as it does affect your bottom line.
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.
