Unfounded Damage Wants Full Refund and Keep item
I should have known better. A buyer who makes demands before the sale is going to make more demands after the sale. So I had a DVD box set for sale. I had it listed for $15 Very Good pay actual shipping 2 pounds media mail. Guy emails me offering $7 says it is a gift for a friend. I told him the best I can do is match the lowest price which was $15 free shipping. Again he wants $8. I said no thanks. He buys it from me at $10 plus shipping which comes to $14.87 lower than the lowest priced item. He gets it and now is making ridiculous claims and wants a partial refund. My first response was I told him I would normally refund someone the difference in price of the one you got to the correct described one but you paid less than the lowest price item. After the second email I just said return for refund. He opened SNAD then emailed me just refund me the money today. Yeah that's not going to happen. He said there is a scuff to the box and not happy. I looked up what ebay said it considered Very Good "Minimal wear on the exterior of item" and this DVD is still Vey Good. I'll add pix below. I'm afraid to contact ebay for an answer because they flat out lied to me last time I contacted them. I have chat log that says you are right and we 100% will find in your favor then didn't.
I didn't know people were so picky over a $10 dvd. I thought they want to watch it. This isn't going up in value, it is going down in value.
I guess just send him a prepaid mailer. Right now my profit is $7.06 if I pay to get it back I won't be upside down. Just hate buyers asking for stuff for freeShelfwear
