Without knowing more about the item or its location we cannot say for sure why you are getting that message.
Is the item coming from outside the U.S.? If so it may not be allowed to be imported, or the seller does not ship to the U.S.. If it has parts deemed to be hazardous that might prevent the sale from happening.

-Is the Seller located in the USA?
-Is this the first time you have seen this error?
-Did you recently change your address?

Mentor1 week ago · Edited@dr.yakyma Thank you for the link. That item is located in your state too. Is this the first time you have seen this error? If so and you recently changed your address there may be a mistake in your address, like maybe too many characters on your name line or other address line.
The Seller could also have a mistake on their shipping section like a bad dimension on the package that exceeds the carrier's max size specification.
You can try to purchase some type of inexpensive item to see if the error happens again, if not then that would point to an error with the Seller's specific listing.

Mentor1 week ago@dr.yakyma I am not sure what the problem is since you are both located in CA. I was able to put the item in my cart with a CA zip code with no issues. I agree with @mr_lincoln to check your address format.
You can go to another listing and just add it to your cart to help rule out an issue on your account. Then just delete the item from your cart.
Also are you using a package forwarding service to send the item to another country?
