Unfavorite a Seller
I wish I could unfavorite a seller, similar to favorite a seller. Once again, I have a seller that I would give negative feedback, but he hasn't given me feedback (he should have because I paid immediately). I'm afraid that if I give negative feedback for him, that he'll retaliate and give me (undeserved) negative feedback. It's not worth it. I'd like to avoid him in the future, but I'm afraid I'll forget his username.

Feedback on eBay -- currently -- means very, very little. Next to almost nothing.
Leaving feedback on eBay was never mandatory, nor even a "should."
(Or if it was, that was an extremely long time ago.)
A buyer who suggests the seller "should have" left feedback for that buyer doesn't understand eBay's Feedback system (such as it is).
You may go ahead and leave negative feedback for that seller if you truly believe it is necessary. Keep your statements factual and try to be polite, even if you are angry.
That seller is not allowed to retaliate with negative feedback about you. For many years now, eBay has not allowed sellers to leave negative or neutral feedback for buyers. Buyers can only receive positive feedback.
You don't have to post your feedback today, though.
Things may look better tomorrow.

OP2 weeks agoYou may be taking "should have" in a different way than I meant. I meant it in a "polite, respectful" way, not a "legal, obligatory" way. For example, if someone does something very courteous for someone, the recipient "should" say "thank you." They're not obligated to, but it seems the polite thing to do. By the way, I've not received feedback for many, many auctions. I'm OK with that. Lately (maybe the past 5 years), it seems a higher percentage of sellers are giving me feedback. But thank you for belittling me!

Buyers can only receive positive feedback. If he leaves a positive with a negative comment, you can get it removed and he will get a policy violation on his account.
You could set up a saved search that excludes this seller, but then you’d have to remember to start any new search from that saved search.
