unfair rating
Hello A few months ago Ebay lowered my rating from %100 satisfaction to %97 saying that I was selling items in my store that I didn't have in stock. Recently i noticed that a few items that i sold were not automatically taking off my items for sale by Ebay. It used to be that when an item was sold it was taking off my listings by Ebay. I have also noticed that when i want to delete an item, it won't delete. People were actually buying the items for a second time because Ebay did not remove the listing after I sold it. It seems unfair that my rating went down because of a glitch with Ebay. I have items on Ebay at the moment that i cannot delete, so if someone buys it and I can't delete it, Ebay blames me for selling an item that is in my store that i cannot delete. Need some help.

Mentor3 years agoeBay did not lower your rating - 2 buyers left you negative feedback. 1 was for you cancelling their purchase due to no payment before the 4 day allowance was up. The other was for being out of stock.
I have never experienced it, but others have also posted about items being relisted after being sold. I have never heard of an item that could not be ended, unless it was an auction with less than 12 hours to go. You should contact customer service right away for help with an item you can’t end. For now, edit the price and push it up way higher than anyone would pay. Add something to the description explaining that the item is not available.
If you are having continual problems with items relisting, you need to create a way to monitor your listings so that you catch them right away. Something as simple as keeping a running total - active + new - sold = new active at the end of the day. If it doesn’t match, find the issue right away, end the problem item, then report the issue to customer service while it is fresh and can be investigated.
To speak to customer service, use the link on the left side of this page “have us call you†- https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10
If you don't see 'have us call you' right under the chat link, click chat. Then at the bottom of the chat topics, click more, then click contact an agent.
