Unfair Order Cancellation and Relisting by Seller After Payment
I won a jumper in an auction several days ago and paid for it on February 6th. However, the seller didn’t ship. When I inquired about it today, I received no response but was instead refunded, and my order was canceled. The seller then relisted the jumper I had won, presumably unhappy with the sale price, without providing any explanation for canceling the order. Is such behavior permissible on eBay? It seems unfair to consumers, as buyers generally cannot retract bids once made, yet it appears sellers can cancel transactions after payment. If this is against eBay’s policies, how should I report this issue? I couldn’t find an option for filing a manual complaint. Thank you for any guidance.
