Hi everyone,
I recently found myself in a situation where I accidentally purchased an item online. The seller doesn't accept returns, and the shipping cost was unexpectedly high, far exceeding the item's value. I'm sure this has happened to others before.
How have you handled similar situations? What strategies or steps did you take to resolve the issue, whether through communication with the seller, platform policies, or other means? Have you ever successfully contested such charges or found creative solutions?
I would love to hear your experiences and any advice you could offer on dealing with non-refundable purchases, especially when faced with excessive shipping fees.
Looking forward to your insights!

If you are a buyer who wants to cancel an order that hasn't shipped yet, you can request the cancellation here. The seller needs to approve the cancellation. Many sellers will work with you, if they haven't shipped the item yet.

Just click the image of your item and follow the steps.
The seller will review your request.
If you need to return the item when it arrives, you can request that here, even if the seller doesn't offer returns.

Other than that, you can sell the item yourself and try to recoup some of the cost.
