They felt this was unfair as the seller did not honor the original agreement and sought advice and insights from others who might have faced similar issues. They also asked for opinions on the ethical responsibilities of online sellers regarding pricing changes.
Hi everyone,
I recently experienced a situation where my eBay order was canceled after payment. The item was initially listed at a certain price, which I agreed to pay. However, after the cancellation, I noticed the item was relisted at a higher price. This feels unfair as the seller did not honor the original agreement.
I would love to hear from others who have encountered similar issues. How did you handle it? What advice can you offer to ensure such situations are addressed fairly? Also, what are your thoughts on the ethical responsibilities of online sellers regarding pricing changes?
Looking forward to hearing your insights and experiences!

Mentor2 weeks agoCancelling a paid order is a big no-no for eBay sellers and eBay does take this seriously. The seller received a defect on their account. I agree it is unethical and I would never do this. You can report the seller for not completing the sale https://www.ebay.com/help/sr?query=report+seller&origin=1&aiSummary=true
