Understanding Counterfeit Email
Hi, I am a new seller. I listed a vintage LV card case I inherited from a family member who collected LV for many decades. I sold the item inexpensively because there were condition issues. eBay flagged it as counterfeit. I obtained a third-party authentication and submitted an appeal with the authentication certificate and better photos of the embossed logo and serial number. I am still able to purchase the shipping label even though eBay is simultaneously saying they removed the listing and I can't relist. I don't know what I am supposed to do. I'm not confident anyone actually reviewed the appeal as the reply I received was rather boiler plate. Should I cancel the sale? I don't believe this piece is counterfeit - and I don't want this to tarnish my newly established account. I am excited to be here selling.
