Underpaid shipping huge fee
Why was I charged $90 for underpaid shipping costs?! How can an item be $105 total to be shipped after taking the initial fee and then another $90?! It said the reason was underpaid shipping costs?? It was a jacket that was shipped and weighed before being sent !!

Mentor3 weeks agoWhat shipping carrier was used for the shipping? In addition to the weight of the package and the dimensions of the package, if the package exceeds certain dimensions or exceeds 1728 cubic inches, there could be additional surcharges and therefore dimensional weight is used.
I would guess that bomber jacket was shipped in a box larger than 1728 cubic inches (12x12x12) and therefore incurred dimensional weight charge.

OP3 weeks agoI used USPS and it was likely the size of the box but it doesn’t show it on my receipt and didn’t show me on eBay either. I had no clue about this, is there a way to have this resolved, because $90 is a lot to take out randomly.

You can appeal the USPS upcharge, but it would be helpful to know:
1) What type of packaging you used
2) What was the weight and dimensions of the box?
3) What was the class of shipping you used, Ground Advantage, Priority?
4) What was the destination zip code?
We can help you determine if the upcharge was correct or not.
$105 is a very expensive shipment.

Mentor3 weeks agoHow did you ship? What was the actual size of the package? Who did you use for shipping?
These are important key facts to know to help you with this situation.
Usually, underpaid shipping happens when you select the wrong package type. For example, you needed to select oversize or large package.
If you did not measure correctly, this can also result in a problem.
Lastly, it could be a problem with another package in the way of the scanner when they scan for size and weight.
Can you give more details about your package size, type and carrier?
