underpaid shipping
I have been getting charged for underpaid shipping. How is this a problem if I buy the shipping label from Ebay? Is there a way I can dispute these charges? Also I sent in a request to cancel a shipping label but see nothing under the request and disputes page to see where that is in the process.
Thank you

Mentor1 year agoThe reason why your would be paying for underpaid shipping is because your packages weigh more or are a bigger size than you stated in your listing and what eBay used when you processed the label.
The important thing to do is weigh your package and measure your package before you list the item so that you know what to put into the shipping section of the listing. Then when you ship the item, you make sure the numbers are correct when you used eBay shipping to print the label.
When you cancel a label with eBay shipping for USPS it can take up to 21 days to see the refund. The refund will be on your original payment method you used for shipping.

Mentor1 year agoThe shipper double checks the weight and dimensions while the package is in process and goes through a sorting location. If the automated system detects an error in the shipping charge they bill eBay who passes the amount on to you. You may or may not be able to fight the adjustment depending on the shipping carrier used. Who did you use? Did the notice give a reason for the adjustment?
When you cancel a label the shipper must see that the label was not used. This process takes 21 days and eBay will let you know when the shipper allows the refund.
