Underestimated shipping costs
I failed to properly weigh an item when selecting the postage for something I was selling. The buyer paid for postage at 3 oz but it is actually 6 oz.
What can I do so that the buyer doesn’t get stuck paying more postage to get their purchase?

-Your mistake, you pay for it when you print the label through eBay. They give you a discount when printing your labels through them so that will help offset your mistake.
-If you already purchased an incorrect 3 oz label go to this page and Cancel the label, you will be credited the cost in 21 days or less: Track and manage your shipments
Then purchase the 6 oz label and ship the item.
-If you already shipped the item with the wrong amount the APV system between eBay and USPS should catch the mistake and back charge your account.

Mentor11 months agoThe buyer will pay what is displayed on the listing. When you go to print the shipping label, just change the weight of the item, so you end up paying the correct amount.
