Underage selling
My son is 13 and tried to sell the Xbox I just bought him 6 months ago. He “sold†it but I told him absolutely not! How do I go about getting his account taken down and him to not be charged the $50 for cancelling like I’m trying to make him do?? Please help!

Mentor2 years ago@flem.regi You are correct that he should cancel the sale. If he is charged a fee for cancelation depends on if he is canceling an Auction with bids OR used a Reserve price.
If the auction has bids then he's charged a fee based on the highest bid. For reserve price the fee is charged the moment the item is listed and is usually not refundable.
If it has SOLD and he has to refund a buyer then that's a whole other issue that gets MUCH more complicated
You can contact eBay customer service after he cancels the sale and see if they will issue a courtesy refund of the fees or not.

eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.

2. Click Automated chat on the left hand side of the screen. ( Trust me)
3. Type AGENT in the small box on the lower right of the linked page then you will see the options to contact a live agent, you may have to answer the chat bots questions before it allows you to connect to an agent, this is so you are connected to the correct department. If the bot asks another question after you answered type AGENT again. Then you will see the option to request a call back or live chat.
If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media
4. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.
