Under calculations for shipping
Hello. Of course another issue with eBay. Has anyone had issues with under calculations when buyer pays for items sold? Let me explain: this is one example I just experienced but not the only one. I listed an item and when it came to buyer pays shipping, I put in my weight of package and the dimensions. Package was around 5 pounds. Item sold and buyer went to checkout and shipping charges shown was $5.93. I mean come on!! A 5 lb package ships to several states away for under $6.00???? Anyway, wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue and what can I do to resolve it. It’s not the buyers fault so I have to ship or get negative feedback. It’s nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone at eBay. Thank you for your help. Take care.

Mentor2 years agoNo. I always use calculated shipping, entering the packaged weight of the box plus the dimensions (rounded up to the nearest inch) and ebay has never undercharged in the 20+ years I have been selling on ebay.
What service did you select for shipping that showed $5.93 for a 5 pound package?
