Uncomfortable with sale
Summary: ramblingrelics is worried about a recent sale on eBay where they sold a sterling cross and chain for a surprisingly low price with cheap shipping. They are suspicious because they would not normally offer such prices and are unsure if it's a glitch. wooden_flower suggests that the listing may have been up since 2022, and the shipping costs were reasonable back then. wooden_flower notes that other items in ramblingrelics's listings show similar shipping methods, possibly accounting for the confusion.
I had notification that I sold a item. I looked and I am very uncomfortable with sale. First, I would of never sold a sterling cross and chain for 9.95 and never only charged 2.95 for shipping. When I look at the purchaser, they have good feedback, but when I pull up original listing, it does not show shipping under price and makes me feel suspicious. I also would never ship jewelry first class. Does this sound like a glitch in ebay? I would like to cancel order, but don't want negative feedback.

I looked at the listing - is says it was last updated in 2022. Is it possible that it has been listed this long? Do you have the item available to ship?
In 2022, $2.95 for shipping was probably reasonable - I think 4oz was around $3.30. This was before the first class package was rolled into ground advantage, so it did include tracking.
You have some other older items that show first class for shipping, and at least 1 that shows 2022 as the last edit date.

OP3 weeks agoThank you for answering. I realized what happened now. Like you said the listing has been up for a long time. When it switched it over to ground advantage, it did not switch listing to that. The buyer basically had the option of choosing shipping and unfortunately the buyer chose first class. I will have to eat it on this sale. Oh well, life happens!
