Unaware Purchase of counterfeit item on eBay
Does eBay have any contact information to get assistance with the purchase of a possible counterfeit item?

Item was given for gift. Few weeks after that, person told me that there were items that were not working on the AirPods.
Contacted Apple. Gave them serial number, etc. Was advised the items were counterfeit and to contact the place where I had purchased them. Seller is no longer a member of Ebay. At least not on that listing.

·2 years agoGo to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

Unfortunately, seller has closed out refund request. They are no longer a member of Ebay sellers.
(at least not under the name I purchased from.)

Sellers cannot close your request if you had a valid reason to file the RETURN request.
