Unavoidable Late Shipment

Question

I tried to ship a package and the address was unknown to my USPS stamps.com account and later at post office. I have a one day shipping policy and this issue caused a late shipment. Buyer sent me correct address today. How do I have the late shipment wiped from rating?

Hi @jakestersdad

For seller protection you must ship to the address the buyer provides at checkout, so in this case you should cancel the transaction and relist so that the buyer can repurchase the item using the correct address at checkout.

(That solves the potential defect for late shipping as well.)
