Unavailable items
Hi all, i was trying to buy something. The seller has 5 available but when I tried to check out, I was told the item is unavailable. The seller even confirmed they had some available. They had no idea what was going.
What could be the issue here?

Did it actually say that the item wasn't available to your location? Usually that means that the seller hasn't properly set up his shipping, so eBay doesn't know how to calculate it. The message would say "your location" without regard to what your location is. Another reason might be if you're using a VPN. Those bounce your signal all around, sometimes through foreign countries, and the signal that eventually connected to eBay might have come from Bumfort, Egypt. We might give a more educated opinion if we knew what the item number is, if you would care to share it?
