Unauthorized funds taken from Debit card
I sold a sports card on Ebay on April 19th for $95, the card was shipped the next morning and went thru USPS to the next carrier at USPS and then was sent from there and then it never arriver to the buyer. Had good back and forth with the buyer and neither of us could get a physical agent on the phone so he opened a case resolution. I sold a card today for $70 and shipped. E bay said I owed them $208 ???? Then it was $48???? They wanted a CC/Debit to pay the $5 plus for shipping. I paid instead where as they used to take off sale? Now they just took the remaining $43 plus from my Debit card???? **bleep**???? I NEVER AUTHORIZED THAT REMOVAL OF FUNDS FROM MY ACCOUNT! I sold two cards for $165.00 and I didn't pay for promotion clicks but regular % of promotion. How do I sell $165 pre fees/taxes and end up paying EBAY??? PLEASE HELP!!!
I was sent thru FOUR different agents today for over an hour on line and finally was sent to another resolution agent
and have to wait up to 72 hours for another response. They took an additional $43 plus dollars out of my bank account. So I pay Ebay to lose money money?? I lose product and pay EBAY. PLEASE SOMEONE GIVE ME A LEGITIMATE PHONE NUMBER TO SPEAK TO A PHYSICAL AGENT!!
I have great reviews and I am poor and getting totally taken advantage of.
All advise is greatly appreciated.
Regards, Frankie

That sounds frustrating.
1) When you agree to sell on eBay, you give them the right to bill your card for expenses and fees
2) For the item that didn't arrive to your buyer, you should refund now, and file an insurance claim with USPS
https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm
3) Your "available funds" are a running total, so there may be fees from other listings and sales intermingled.
From your gross sales (Price + Shipping, if any + Sales Tax) eBay will deduct
Sales Tax (remitted to the state)
Shipping labels
Final Value Fees FVF
Insertion fees (if any)
Promoted listing fees (if any)
Store Fees (if any)
etc.
Here is a help page where you can learn about selling fees:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/selling-fees?id=4822
All of the deductions should be listed here:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/transactions
If you use the App, here is where to find your transactions
Click Selling icon
>Payments
>>See all activity
4) You likely have some money on hold that will be released
