Do you have more than one eBay account, or have any outstanding bids or offers that might have required a preauthorization charge?
eBay can only help if an unauthorized purchase appears in your own purchase history of your eBay account. Change your eBay password and contact eBay in that case.
If the charge only appears on a credit or debit card statement, contact your card issuer for more details of the transaction or to dispute it and get a new card number issued.
