Unable to make offer

Question

Hello, I am having trouble placing an offer on someone's post where I am allowed to click the button and enter the amount of the offer. But when I go to submit, I keep getting 'Sorry there is a technical problem' every time. it doesn't let me place the bid. I tried signing out and in and restarting my computer. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

@soulbreakerx7 With the kind help of another Mentor, @eastlaneave I have confirmed that if the seller does not allow offers, you would not even see the option to send an Offer, so that is not the problem.

I did find some other references to your problem, but they were a year old. If it is still happening, please post how you're navigating to the Offer screen, as we may be able to suggest an alternative way for you to do it.

Hmmm, I have not seen that. Some sellers do not allow offers to be made. For example, I do not. But I don't think you'd get as far as being able to click the button & enter the offer amount if that's the case. I would think (hope) it wouldn't even show you the option. You can try it with one of my items if you want to see how it looks, as I'm not positive.

Usually the "sorry there is a technical problem" screen is usually just that. I would try again in a few hours. If you are getting it on multiple items/multiple sellers, it may help to cleare cache/cookies.
