Unable to get a refund, help needed.
In April 2024, I ordered bone cancelling headphones from Ebay. It arrived but my father, who it was for, did not like it and I asked the seller for a refund. I had to return it by a certain date but the seller would not give me an address (giving various excuses), so eventually, I packaged up the parcel and sent it to China, at a cost of £25, to the address on the origional posting. Typically, later that same day, the seller eventually provided an address in the UK, but it was too late and I had already sent it, to comply with my obligation to return it within the required time frame.
I did not receive any refund but the case was closed by Ebay. However, in November the parcel was returned to my address from China. I therefore contacted the seller to see if I can now return it to the UK address for a refund. The item is in perfect condition and in its origional box. But again, the seller has given excuses asking for time to consider this.
Please can someone suggest how I can take this forward. Ebay say the refund is closed and I cannot find any way of challenging this. I paid £115 for the item so I would like this refunded.

Mentor1 year agoIt is too late for ebay to help you. If you paid with Paypal, file a case there. If you paid with a credit card, file a case with the credit card issuer.
