Anyone having issues deleting delivered items from their ORDERS tab? I have been getting an error message for a week.

Sellers cannot delete items from their Order list. That financial information is retained by eBay for year end reporting. You can try Archiving listings on your Order page by using the drop down menu. Is there a reason you do not want to see them???
