Unable to contact ebay customer support
I have tried repeatedly to contact eBay's customer support. Does anyone have an email address or know how to accomplish contacting them for help with return? I purchased something that came in a Walmart box - I want to return the unopen package. The seller gave me a return address for some foreign place - I keep asking for a USA address for the return. I feel like I have been scammed and sure won't be buying from ebay in the future if this is how business is conducted. So very frustrating!

When you purchased the item was the item location stated as being in the US or not? eBay allows you to file a return without contacting the Seller, you do that through your Purchase history, the menus there have choices for returns. Yours would be one that you changed your mind so you will have to pay the return shipping and unless it was shipping in from out of the US you should be able to print out a label and return it.

OP3 years agoThank you for your reply. I am fine to pay to return, I made a mistake in placing the order. however, I never saw that the seller was in China. My bad. I just went looking and saw it just now. The item arrived in a Walmart box!
Not to mention I just saw the same product at Walmart for far less cost. Lesson learned. Thank you again.

Mentor3 years ago@Anonymous That explains the foreign return address ... sadly, the Seller probably uses WalMart here as a drop shipper so you were taken across on that one and to your point, lesson learned.

·3 years agoDid the listing say the item was being shipped from the US or China?
If it said it was shipping from the US, you return it to the US.

OP3 years agoI did not see a reference to where it would ship from at the time I purchased. My bad if it was clearly labeled as shipping from China, If it was there, it was well hidden, in my opinion. However, it shipped from Walmart, a USA address. Lesson learned. Thank you for taking the time to provide helpful feedback and now I know to scour every seller, so I am not fooled again.

I Did not open the product box - and open the walmart box enough to see that the only thing I ordered was in the box.
